Sensori-motor movement laboratory infrastructure (Research)

REVAL, the rehabilitation research institute of BIOMED, is establishing a movement analysis laboratory to comprehensively measure the behavior of patients with cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neurological and pediatric populations as well of sport athletes and elderly, and persons with pain. This project allows the purchase of measurement equipment. Specifically, following equipment and recordings will be available: eye movement recording by means of infrared techniques, pain threshold determination, quantification of movement quality during gait, arm and whole body movements and measurement of oxygen uptake during treadmill endurance tests.
