Title
FWO travel grant for a short stay at the Washington and Lee University at Lexington (Research)
Abstract
During this research stay, I will collaborate with professor Grajzl and his research group on a project aimed at examining micro-level determinants of the duration of litigation in Belgian courts. We utilize an original dataset that I have been compiling for this purpose. Through my contribution on the project, I will acquire expertise in survival analysis- a set of econometric modeling tools used for empirical investigation of duration data. The anticipated outcome of the project is a scholarly article to be eventually submitted to a reputable peer-reviewed journal.
