Artificial Intelligence: Digital energy (Research)

In this project, the practical implementations of existing BESSs AI algorithms are compared, applied and implemented within the framework of the new Flemish capacity tariff. In view of the rapid deployment of the project results, so that the companies (engineering and study bureaus, data science and AI companies, electrical engineering companies) can offer services and products, a broader framework is also provided. This framework includes the regulations for implementing BESSs and the techno-economic aspects. Based on our estimate, compared with VLAIO and VEA, we expect that some 3,600 SMEs will directly benefit from the project results.
