Conceiving a church policy plan for the municipality of Lummen, including a participatory trajectory regarding the (partial) reuse of the parish churches. (Research)

The municipality of Lummen wishes to obtain a (renewed) church policy plan, including a long term vision regarding the five parish churches. The updated plan needs to be supported by the local communities (civilians, schools, and local associations as well), the municipal council, the pastoral team, the church boards, and some supralocal associations. Of fundamental importance regarding the plan is that it will find local support. That is why the basis of it will be achieved via a participatory trajectory which will include local communities, the local government, and the church boards. The church policy plan will function as a strategic vision within local policy. Hasselt University teams up with Parcum for this assignment.
