Condensation Polymers for monomer/oligomer Recovery and Reuse (Research)

CoRe2 aims to open new avenues for upcycling end-of-life waste that contains step-growth polymers, like polyesters, polyamides or polycarbonates, either pure, but in this project phase also as material mixtures e.g. in textiles. The waste fractions are upcycled, either to novel building blocks with added value, such as diamines, or to high performance polymers, such as thermoplastic copolyesters or polyphthalamides.
