From demand to support (Research)

As designers and policy makers, we have ideal targets for sustainable use of space, but we find it difficult to find support among citizens to achieve these targets. Research shows that citizens are already taking many initiatives regarding sustainability but do not feel understood by the policy makers. This project aims to gather more knowledge about the shared concerns and the tensions between these groups and to collaboratively test solutions. We do this on the basis of three long-term residencies in neighbourhoods in transformation around the south of West-Flanders.
