IOF POC project: "Nascent" (Research)

"Nascent is a matchmaking tool that combines academic rigor with practical relevance to connect entrepreneurial talent and budding entrepreneurs. This with a view to creating a new business or building a young business together. Nascent links entrepreneurial supply and demand using academically validated concepts and scales to find a qualitative match, i.e. complementarity in terms of skills, personality and mindset. The matchmaking process is threefold. It looks looks at hard skills (e.g., education, experience, age, industry), soft skills (e.g., entrepreneurial passion, individual entrepreneurial orientation) and expectations (e.g., what hard skills are you looking for?). On top of matchmaking, "Nascent" also offers an entrepreneurial self-scan that allows users to analyze what type of entrepreneur they are. With this POC application, we wish to raise the TRL level of Nascent to level 6 with the view of creating a spin-off in Q3 2024.
