Family Firm Dysfunctional Behavior and Family Firm Performance (Research)
Abstract
This Phd will focus on examining disfunctional behavior in the family firm and its impact on the business. Disfunctional behavior can be defined very broadly (e.g., unethical leadership, relational conflicts within the family, favoring family members to the detriment of nonfamily members active in the family firm, etc). This disfunctional behavior in the family firm can be due to many factors that will be examined in more detail (e.g. mismatch in personalities in the
management team, values and norms of the family etc.).
