Fundamental Topics in Stochastic Thermodynamics (Research)

During this research stay we consider a number of fundamental topics within Stochastic Thermodynamics. These topics are: efficiency fluctuations, thermodynamic uncertainty relation, translation and rotational diffusion and equipartition between rotation/translation of a freely moving object, detailed fluctuation theorem / entropy production and active motion. These topics will be investigated using the framework of microscopic Brownian motors.
