Talent Academy Limburg (Education)

With the slogan 'Giving young people a view of what tomorrow is', it is clear what the Talenten Academy Limburg - TALim means for teenagers (10-13 years) growing up in vulnerable environments. In this way, TALim hopes to reduce the number of early school leavers in municipalities where these numbers are high. With this ESF application, we want to work towards achieving two objectives. The first objective is to upscale our operation to a third municipality: Maasmechelen. This way, we can give more young people from Limburg the opportunity to participate in TALim and will increase the total impact of TALim on the prevention of school dropouts in Limburg. A second objective that we aim for with this ESF project application is the further upscaling of TALim through the establishment of an alumni network (and associated activities) at each TALim location.
