Abstract
The legal landscape in Belgium is undergoing constant changes, driven by factors such as digitalization, reforms, and societal developments. These changes present new challenges in terms of efficiency, accessibility, cost control, and the quality of legal services. Given that a well-functioning legal system is essential for legal certainty and public
trust in justice, this PhD focuses on applying economic insights to better understand the impact of these challenges.
