Development and Validation (Research)
Abstract
This project aims to develop two prototype peptide-based assays to enhance the valorization potential
for the newly identified rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) biomarkers. The goal is
to create a high-throughput, clinically applicable test for early diagnosis in axSpA and to predict therapy
response in RA. The project includes assay development and validation in known and blinded patient cohorts,
ensuring reliability and clinical relevance. This project aims to attract industry partnerships or licensing
opportunities by delivering a validated prototype, accelerating market entry and adoption.
