Title

Boosting cAMP using a sequential subtype-specific PDE4 inhibition approach: unlocking its potency and downstream signalling in spinal cord injurt (Research)

Abstract

Spinal cord injury (SCI) comprises a multifactorial pathology characterized by an initial robust neuroinflammatory response that impedes subsequent regeneration. We and others demonstrated that specific enzymatic inhibitors diminish neuroinflammation while stimulating neuroplasticity in central nervous system disorders. Hence, we hypothesize that orchestrating these specific enzymatic inhibitors will reduce neuroinflammation while boosting repair in SCI.
