Title
IUC Connect: Connecting Minds, Creating Change - An IUC Community at UHasselt (Education)
Abstract
This project proposes the establishment of an Institutional University Cooperation (IUC) community at UHasselt, designed to consolidate and enhance the university's global engagement. Building on past and ongoing VLIRUOS IUC collaborations with partner universities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, Tanzania, and Ecuador, the initiative will create an internal platform to strengthen institutional capacity, foster interdisciplinary exchange, and promote best practices in international cooperation. By advancing professional development, student engagement, and administrative excellence, the IUC community will support UHasselt's researchers and staff in developing impactful global partnerships. Enhanced dissemination and visibility of IUC outcomes will further position UHasselt as a leader in sustainable, international academic collaboration.
