Francqui Research Professor (Research)

The Francqui Research Professor mandate connects solar innovation with societal and economic questions. We will: (1) strengthen public perception and social readiness of multifunctional PV through stakeholder consultation and technology assessment; (2) investigate a sustainable, vibration-free solar-power concept for the Einstein Telescope; and (3) develop high-impact research proposals with international partners on inorganic solar cells, including international mobility.
