Title
The effects of a dynamic arm support in daily life. A mixed methods study including the different components of the ICF (Research)
Abstract
Persons with a neuro(muscular) disorder experience sensorimotor disorders that often result in limitations in activities in daily life and restrictions in participation options. To compensate for these disorders, a 'Dynamic arm support' (DAS) can be used. This aid supports the arm when performing movements. However, there is currently insufficient evidence available as to the added value of the DAS in the field of daily functioning. The aim of this collaboration with Focal Meditech BV is to gain more insight through various projects into the use of the DAS on activities in daily life in people with a neuro(muscular) disorder.
