Support Center for Administrative Renewal 2026-2030 (Research)

SBV is a consortium of researchers based at Flemish academic institutions. The Policy Research Centre's mission is to conduct scientific research in a flexible and interactive manner to support policy preparation, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with the client's expectations and annual policy priorities within the framework of the proposed multi-year plan. The centre aims to systematically provide a scientific foundation for the policy and management cycle through structural funding. Its primary task is to execute research assignments focused on policy-relevant issues. Specifically, the centre conducts research into well-founded HR policy as well as local autonomy and local responsibility. To fulfill this mandate, the centre brings together a critical mass of multidisciplinary expertise in the field of public administration, as well as related disciplines and research fields such as political science, finance, regulation, behavioral sciences, and personnel management.
