Project R-16271

Title

Treg-BBB: Regulatory T cell – blood brain barrier interactions drive loss of remyelination capacity (Research)

Abstract

This project investigates the interactions between regulatory T cells (Tregs) and the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in the context of neuroinflammation. We aim to understand what drives the loss of function in Tregs upon entering an inflamed brain environment, and how this process contributes to progressive neurodegeneration. Findings will provide novel insights into the therapeutic potential of Treg-based therapies for neurodegenerative disorders.
