TINYSEA – Tiny Support for Effect Acceleration (Education)

With this DIOS project we aim to increase the scope and visibility of the workshops, and align some of the activities with other medium-term objectives. In particular, the requested funding allows CenStat personel to attend the workshops and deliver short courses, contribute to scientific discussions, and organise alumni events. Attending these locally organised workshops gives us the opportunity to meet people that are not (yet) in our network. Having all our Philippine partners together at one place, gives us also the chance to discuss further activities and initiatives. The short courses, which are aligned with gaps in their curricula, will not only atract more people to attend the workshop, but it will also be open to the statistics students at MSU-IIT, CLSU and VSU (either onsite or online). Although BIGSEA targets South East Asia, this project primarily focuses on the Philippines, which acts as a hub in our SEA activities.
