Title

PRISM-Health: a strategic platform for predictive, human-relevant health and toxicology research (Research)

Abstract

PRISM-Health (Predictive Research & Integration for Safety and Mechanisms in Health) is a strategic valorisation project at the Centre for Environmental Sciences (CMK) that aims to integrate existing expertise, assays, and data infrastructures into a coherent, externally facing platform for predictive and human-relevant health and toxicology research. The platform brings together New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), advanced particle detection technologies, and longitudinal human exposome and biobank data. The CONCEPT project focuses on assessing technology readiness, business relevance, and valorisation pathways of the scientific expertise, know-how, and assets. Through targeted engagement with stakeholders and research partners, PRISM-Health will deliver a strategic and business scan, use cases, and concrete follow-up trajectories toward valorisation-oriented funding schemes and recognition in research and public health.
