Infrastructure for photovoltaic research (Research)

The project is primarily an investment project. The scientific competence of the executive research institutions is high. The availability of the research infrastructure contributes to the performers so that they can achieve their ambitious research and development goals and further develop their current position. A study of Generations and Agoria shows that employment in Flanders in the field of solar energy can grow in excess of 400 jobs (2007) to 7000 (2020). Because of the availability of research infrastructure, the research and development activities for products and services with high value add more support so that in the future the Flemish companies can play an important international role or at least can maintain their current international position.
