Schemas and query languages for graph databases (Research)

Large databases are conventionally managed by standard relational database management systems. New applications of databases, such as data on the Web, and scientific data, call for a data model that has specific support and understanding of graph-structured data, where the data is in the form of a network. The current proposal's objective is to contribute to the development of the necessary theory underlying a new data model for graph databases.
