Report research misconduct to the Commission of Scientific Integrity (CWI). The CWI deals with issues that undermine scientific integrity, including falsification and fabrication of research results and plagiarism.

If your research project involves people, animals, the environment, or genetic material, an ethical approval may be required before you begin. This ensures that your research is carried out with respect for the rights and safety of involved research subjects. The Human Rights Commission evaluates and deals with questions related to potential human rights violations in research activities and collaborations. To make a request for evaluation, consult the Human Rights Commission's webpage.

Are you a PhD student? Are you experiencing problems working with your supervisor? Or have you encountered integrity issues in the course of your research? Together we’ll try to get your PhD back on track.

Are relations with your colleagues not going smoothly? Are you experiencing bullying, sexual harassment, discrimination or aggression? Or are you suffering physical or psychological harm as a result of the organisation of your work, the content, conditions or circumstances of your employment? If so, get in touch with one of Hasselt University's seven confidants. We 'll listen to your problems and look for a solution together.

The contact point is there for all staff members (including doctorandi) and students of UHasselt. A report may concern transgressive behaviour by a student, staff member or visitor on campus.
