Jean-Pierre Segers got his Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the University of Liège (HEC Management School). He is a visiting professor at Riga Technical University (Latvia) & Hasselt University (Belgium) and is also affiliated with Université de Liège and PXL University of Applied Sciences (honorary dean of Business). He is an Expert of the Latvian Council of Science (Economics and business of social science; political science).
His research interests include big pharma & biotechnology; (open) innovation (management); (regional) systems of innovation; ecosystems and innovation districts; business models; entrepreneurship & ent. education; sustainability & SDGs; facility management.
