Orientation programme
At the start of each semester, orientation days are organised for international students to show them around Hasselt University and give them information about administrative procedures, the electronic learning environment, insurance, Belgian culture, student societies, bicycle renting, etc. Furthermore, these days are an ideal opportunity to get to know other (international) students at Hasselt University.
- Each year, the orientation days of the first semester take place on Tuesday, Wednesday - Thursday - Friday of the second week of September.
- The orientation day of the second semester each year takes place on the second Monday of February (see more below).
Your presence at these orientation days is mandatory !
For students who come to Hasselt University during the 2020-2021 academic year, the orientation programme of the first semester is organised from 15 to 18 September, on Campus Diepenbeek. School for Mobility:
10.30 - 11.30 : welcome and presentation for new incoming ICP scholarship students - room C110
11.30 - 12.30: welcome and presentation for all new master students (+ schakelprogramma) - room C109
12.30 - 14.00: lunch break
14.00 - 16.00: composition study tracks (with Tine Huygh) - Units ABLL2 + 3 and 4
Master of Managment
10.00-11u30: Welcome by Prof. Allard Van Riel, aud. H2
The Orientation day for the second semester 20-21 will be held on Monday, 15 February.
