ALERT Update

The IUMAT building on the Diepenbeek campus has been reopened. The fire brigade has inspected the entire building and declared it safe. The suspected gas leak turned out to be a false alarm and the local emergency plan has been lifted.

Salutation for personnel on the Who's Who directory

For administrative and technical staff or PhD fellows, the standard salutation 'Mr.' or 'Ms.' is included in the Who's Who directory. Any staff member who wishes to remove this can do so themselves. Go to the application portal under the section Personnel Matters > Staff Card Data and uncheck the 'salutation web' option.

Het Vervangingsfonds for temporary replacements

Since 2014, it has been possible for ZAP (academic staff) to use the funds from the Replacement Fund for temporary replacements due to maternity leave, sick leave, or career breaks for social reasons. In exceptional cases, this can also apply to similar absences of AAP, BAP, and OP staff. These replacements can occur both during and after the absence and pertain to the teaching duties of the staff.
