Content

This course is a part of the PhD efficiency week 2026 (23/03/26 - 27/03/24) organized by and for PhD students of the Faculty of Law. Courses included in this trajectory are:

  • Mastering Zotero, mastering references
  • FWO & me: Insights into funding for research stays, conferences and summer/winter schools
  • How to manage my data plan in 10 ways
  • Fintra and the finances of a PhD
  • Hoe tem ik mijn PhD-template? Een ‘Wordje’ uitleg
  • PhD pitch 'Law, responsibility and sustainability in an interdependent world'
  • Methodology and my PhD

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • work efficiently with the PhD template in Word in accordance with the applicable faculty guidelines,
  • apply practical techniques for consistent document formatting and structuring, and
  • integrate the use of the template with automated reference management tools such as Zotero in order to ensure coherence in the preparation of their doctoral manuscript.
