Content

Throughout this course, we explore the fundamentals of effective project management, equipping participants with the skills to successfully navigate their projects.

Participants gain insight into different project management methodologies and how to combine them based on project goals, context and uncertainty. The course covers the full project lifecycle:

  • Initiating: defining and communicating project scope
  • Planning: creating realistic plans despite uncertainty
  • Execution: focusing efforts during project delivery
  • Monitoring: tracking progress and stakeholder communication
  • Closing: ensuring results are secured and embedded

Recognizing that projects are delivered by and for people, explicit attention is given to stakeholder and change management throughout the course.

In addition, the course integrates the use of AI as a structured support tool within project management. Rather than being used superficially, AI is positioned as a means to support deeper analytical thinking and reflection. Participants are introduced to how AI can be used in an iterative and structured way to critically assess project elements, challenge assumptions and better understand the interdependencies within a project. This also provides insight into how the role of the project manager is evolving, where the emphasis shifts increasingly towards critical thinking, judgement and decision-making. AI is therefore positioned as a sparring partner that helps structure complexity and deepen thinking, while maintaining human ownership of decisions.

By the end of the course, participants are ready to approach projects with confidence and structure and to create tangible impact in their environment.
