What days do I need to be present at the Kick-off Week?
This Kick-off Week has been planned with the idea that everyone is expected to be present from Tuesday morning 06/02/2024 till Thursday evening 08/02/2024, so arriving Monday evening 05/02/2024 is most ideal.
Exceptions
- Students are expected Monday morning, which means ideally they should arrive Sunday evening 04/02/2024.
- Rectors are only expected to be present Tuesday morning till Wednesday evening (06/02/2024 - 07/02/2024)

In order to minimize our footprint, while also making sure our meetings run efficiently, we ask every institution to bring a maximum of 13 staff members and 3 students.
Should you still wish to bring more people from your institution, please contact the organising committee.

The Kick-off Week is completely free for everyone who is invited, unless your institution crosses the limit of 13 staff members and 3 students.
The only cost you will have is your transport to and from Hasselt, and your accomodation.

Since you transport and accommodation are booked outside of our institution, we are not involved in any refund processes. Please contact you hotel and airline for more information.

We will be uploading a fully detailed programme before the Kick-off Week with the presentations available to everyone.

All aiport intformation is mentioned on the "Practical information" page. The airports near to Hasselt are: Brussel Zaventem, Brussel Charleroi and Eindhoven.

When you register for the Kick-off week, you will be able to let us know if you need a bus transfer.

We will arrange all transport between our campuses and external visits. No need to worry about this!

Yes! On Tuesday 06/02/2024 we ill be hosting a Gala diner at our region's historic Mining site. Please come in gala attire (Tuxedo / long dress).

Yes! As a The European University on Repsonsible Consumtion and Production, we feel it's our duty to set the tone for future generations to come. Don't worry, we have made sure all food will be delicious!
