Following the great success of the inaugural edition in 2023, we are pleased to invite you to the second edition (’25) of this one-day symposium about senescence in aging and pathology. The topic of cellular senescence has significantly increased in popularity in recent years due to its upcoming role in several fields, such as neurological diseases, cancer resistance, environmental factors and aging. With this symposium, we aim to bring together research on cellular senescence from different fields. We will welcome several nationally and internationally experienced speakers from different backgrounds. In addition, young researchers will be given the opportunity to present their work, share information and build a network.
The symposium will take place on the 7th of October at Embuild Limburg, Belgium and is organized by PhD students from Hasselt University. Registration is now open.
