Networks, Wicked Problems & Agents of Change

Creating the Human Systems That Make Innovation Possible

Healthcare transformation is not just a technical challenge — it is a human and systemic one. In this theme, we explore how networks, ecosystems, and communities of practice emerge, evolve, and create change around complex (“wicked”) healthcare problems.

We investigate how individuals, organizations, and disciplines learn together; how leadership and culture shape collaboration; and what makes certain people “agents of change” capable of moving entire networks forward. This work builds on the collaborative ecosystem at Health Campus Limburg and extends into cross-disciplinary collaborations with sociologists, philosophers, and artists.

Through initiatives like the podcast “The World of Liesbet – How to Become an Agent of Change,” we aim to understand and amplify the human side of innovation: inspiration, motivation, and the power of collective action.
