π Date: Monday, 11 May 2026
π Time: 13:30 - 19:30
π Location: Embuild Limburg, Wetenschapspark 33, 3590 Diepenbeek
Join us as we share and discuss our research into the consequences of human-driven disruptions to Earth's natural systems, spanning impacts on animals, plants, humans, and ecosystems, and exploring how our work can contribute to improving planetary health. True to CMK's identity as an interdisciplinary institute, the programme draws from a diverse range of research approaches and disciplines.
The symposium is a forum to learn, exchange ideas, and connect; open to the entire CMK community, fellow UHasselt researchers, and our stakeholder network from academia, industry, and policy-making.
We look forward to welcoming you.
The evening programme features a panel conversation, exploring how our research connects to the public debate.
Experts from academia and science-communication will focus on the scientific evidence behind major environmental headlines and will reflect on how research findings are communicated, interpreted and sometimes misunderstood in society.
