On 8-9 September 2026, the 2nd joint European MRS chapters workshop will be held in Genova, Italy. The workshop is jointly organized by the European MRS Chapters of Hasselt, Cologne, Paris and Genova and will take place within the framework of the 18th International Conference on Nanostructured Materials (NANO2026).

This two-day event aims to bring together students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists working across the broad field of materials science and nanotechnology. Participants will have the opportunity to present their research through oral and poster contributions, engage in scientific discussions, expand their professional network, and explore future collaborations within the European materials science community.

The workshop is open to all participants, regardless of MRS membership status.

We encourage interested researchers to submit their abstracts and join us in Genova for two days of scientific exchange, networking and collaboration.
