OSCAR-PINQ (Pulsed Integration and Novel Quantum concepts) is aimed at integrating quantum sensors with more advanced operational regimes and exploring novel concepts for Earth Observation.
Our current flagship mission is aimed at integrating quantum sensors with more advanced operational regimes and exploring novel concepts for Earth Observation. The focus is on further refining the quantum sensing capabilities of nitrogen-vacancy diamond sensors, improving its performance, and broadening their application potential. This project is selected by ESA Academy’s Experiments programme of ESA Education to fly on the ESA Space Rider in 2028 (estimated launch date).
