If you do not want to go abroad for a longer period, you can choose to participate in a Summer School. This also allows you to incorporate experience abroad in your curriculum.
Under certain conditions, several programmes award credits for the successful completion of such courses.
For instance, students who are registered for the second bachelor's year in Applied Economics, Business Engineering or Business Informatics at Hasselt University, can participate in a summer school at Wroclaw University of Economics (Wroclaw, Poland), Princess Sumaya University for Technology (Amman, Jordan), or the University of Almeria (Almeria, Spain); the credits obtained from these summer schools count as optional courses in the third bachelor's year. The course themes and dates will be agreed upon at a later date with the partners concerned.
Students within the Faculty of Sciences can also participate in summer schools during their second bachelor's year.
On a regular base, the Faculty of Law announces international Summer Law Schools on Blackboard. Students are encouraged to participate in these courses without any obligation. For the moment, no credits are awarded for them.
Speak to the internationalisation coordinator of your faculty / programme if you would like more information.
