Hasselt University has institutional and faculty collaboration agreements with prominent universities, research institutes and academies all over the world, to give its students, PhD students, researchers and lecturers the possibility to spend time abroad or develop international activities.
In 2022, Hasselt University joined the European University Alliance 'EURECA-PRO'. This network enables students and staff to study, teach and research in the field of responsible consumption and production. The long-term ambition of UHasselt and its partners in Austria, Germany, Greece, Poland, Romania, Spain and France is to become the European hub for education and research in sustainability.

Every semester, the EURECA-PRO organizes an online lecture series on responsible consumption and production. This lecture series is presented by 14 leading professors and researchers of nine European universities from eight countries.
This semester, UHasselt had the honor to be represented by Prof. Tom Kuppens and Prof. Bart Vermang.

What's in it for you?
University engineering students of bachelor or master level can apply. The selection is based on your application letter stating your motivation and your academic progress.
Application
You will find all the information regarding the application in the info sheet. The application deadline is November 30th 2022.
All applicants will be informed about their selection by the end of December 2022.
When?
The Summer School will take place on Diepenbeek campus of Hasselt University, April 23-28th, 2023, followed by a virtual part to be completed at the latest May 5th, 2023.
