Project R-11409

Title

Tumescence Wearable App (Research)

Abstract

The project aims at the further development of a novel device for measurement of the rigidity and/or tumescence of a penis during a penile tumescent event. Furthermore the project aims to use the device in a business case which measures axial and radial rigidity of the penis to screen for erectile dysfunctions (ED). Within the project the aim is to create a reproducible silicone based sensor which will be clinically validated. The results will be further utilised to build a business case which can be translated together with the recently patented technology towards a spin-off or licensing formula.

Period of project

16 December 2020 - 31 December 2022
