Crossover science x art x technology @ X-LAB (Research)

X-LAB (UHasselt) is a cross-disciplinary laboratory in which exploration and crossover between different disciplines are central. X-LAB aims to be a crossroads where science, art, technology and other disciplines meet and cross-fertilize. The vision/dream of X-LAB is to bring different worlds together, to stimulate innovation and creativity through crossovers, with as a mission statement : exploration and crossover towards a creative and sustainable future. X-LAB strives to play an inspiring social role, with a focus on crossover education and outreach. Unique is the organization of the crossover festival X-FESTIVAL (www.x-festival.be). A specific goal of this project is the support of the science-meets-art bio-energy and bio-art activities in the new crossover labs and facilities of X-LAB.
