A study on the evolution and practices of referral to learning support in Flanders: a mixed-method approach. (Research)
Abstract
This study analyzes the evolution of GC, IAC, and OV4 reports in Flanders, with a focus on the referral processes for learning support for students with special educational needs. The project aims to provide insights into the practices used in Flanders. By employing a mixed-method research design, including descriptive-explanatory research, real-time case studies, and focus groups, the project will explore both the quantity and quality of these referral practices. The study will result in policy recommendations to optimize the referral process.
