Vitrectomy device prototype development (Research)
Abstract
In a previous project, an initial prototype was developed for a new vitrectome, a surgical instrument used during eye surgeries to remove the vitreous humor from the eye. This prototype was based on an innovative concept aimed at overcoming the current technical limitations of existing models. This project aims to further develop the initial prototype, as several technological improvements are still needed. Additionally, multiple devices of the prototype will be produced to demonstrate to interested parties
