Strengthening basic and intensified support in Flemish education: adaptation and extension of the EEF guideline and Leerpunt toolkits (Research)

This research project, conducted by UHasselt, UCLL and Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, aims to strengthenbasic and intensified support (BBZ and VZ) in Flemish education. The project adapts the EEF guideline SpecialEducational Needs in Mainstream Schools to the Flemish context and expands the existing Leerpunt toolkits withinclusion-oriented materials and practice examples. Using the ADAPTE methodology, expert consultation and co-creation with education professionals, evidence-based insights are translated into practical recommendations forteachers and schools. The project delivers a validated guideline, enriched toolkits and practice-based examples thatsupport sustainable inclusive education in Flanders.
