Guideline for Data-Informed Practices in Basic and Enhanced Educational Care (Research)
Abstract
In this project, a guideline is developed to support schools in data-supported practices within basic and enhanced care. The guideline provides scientifically grounded and practice-oriented tools to use data in a cyclical, reliable, and purposeful way at both classroom and school levels. The research design follows an Educational Design Research approach, combining a systematic literature review with co-creation involving education professionals and stakeholders. After identifying knowledge gaps, an initial version of the guideline is designed, validated, and refined. The final output consists of concrete recommendations, inspiring practice examples, and supporting materials that are directly applicable in Flemish primary and secondary education.
