Giving Voice to STEM: Inspiring, Informing and Broadening Educational Choices in Vocational STEM Education (Education)

Abstract

This project aims to strengthen educational guidance on STEM programmes with a vocational or dual finality in upper primary education and lower secondary education. Through three interconnected components—a free narrative podcast series, a STEM Kaleidoscope tool based on learner personas, and a hands-on professional development workshop—teachers are supported in communicating about STEM pathways in an accurate, inspiring and inclusive way. Grounded in scientific research and practice-based methodologies, the project seeks to broaden perceptions of vocational STEM education and enhance students' educational and career aspirations.
