Gain insights into how chemical, thermal, and mechanical properties of PE films relate to transport
performance of palletised loads, with special attention to the effects of PE reprocessing
This workshop will take place on campus Diepenbeek (Agoralaan building D, 3590 Diepenbeek) and runs from 10:00 to 16:30, following this agenda:
- 10:00 Welcome with coffee and cake
- 10:30 Start of the theoretical session on the MultiRec project and the tests that will be demonstrated later
- 12:00 Sandwich lunch and soup in the winter garden
- 13:00 Lab tour at ACC in the Science Tower (incl. demos on DSC, GC-MS, microspectroscopy analysis of gels)
- 14:00 Short walk to the Technology Centre
- 14:30 Lab tour at MPR&S (incl. demos on transport simulation, mechanical and thermal testing of transport films)
- 15:30–16:30 Closing networking session with drinks and cake
This workshop is organised in the context of the TETRA-CORNET MultiRec project, which focuses on the impact of multiple recycling steps on the properties of polyethylene films.
Please note that the number of participants is limited to 25.
A registration fee of €450 per person applies.
We look forward to welcoming you in Diepenbeek!
