Who is missing from your scientific story? Could your communication style be building walls instead of bridges?
This workshop, brought to you by SciMingo, introduces inclusive science communication in the context of a superdiverse society. Participants explore what inclusive communication means for research communication, focusing on clarity, recognisability, and avoiding stereotypes in language, framing, and imagery. The session approaches inclusivity as a circular process in which researchers and audiences influence one another, and reflects on positionality, power, and the construction of “in-” and “out-”groups in science communication practice.
