Speaker:
This event has already taken place.
When people nowadays think "Artificial Intelligence", they usually think ChatGPT and other tools that are useful to generate this introduction.
However, the world of AI applications is not uniquely language-based and stretches beyond creating variants of interactive chatbot applications.
In its core, AI provides automated decisions by studying examples of past behaviour.
As Large Language Models take center stage in AI marketing campaigns, companies start to rediscover the benefits and applications of more traditional AI.
At Business Informatics Applied Research Unit (BIARU) we help companies to look beyond the hype of LLMs and help them to pick out the right tools for the right application.
By identifying opportunities for AI, developing proof-of-concept prototypes or co-creating data-driven solutions, we guide companies on - what ChatGPT would call - their journey towards Intelligent Decision-making.
In this talk, Frank Vanhoenshoven will introduce you to some real-world use cases implemented by BIARU.
We will show not only how traditional AI still has added value and but also where LLMs can be applied as catalysts for a shorter time-to-market.
Registration before 5th of March
Frank Vanhoenshoven is active in BIARU, Business Informatics Applied Research Unit, that was created by prof. BenoƮt Depaire to tighten the gap between academics and industry. Apart from offering professional workshops teaching data-driven skills, BIARU consults companies in their effort towards intelligent decision making. This consultancy can range from creating proof-of-concepts prototype algorithms to co-creating an operational data-driven solution.
