The IUMAT building on the Diepenbeek campus has been reopened. The fire brigade has inspected the entire building and declared it safe. The suspected gas leak turned out to be a false alarm and the local emergency plan has been lifted.

Sector Innovation Switch (Research)

Abstract

In the whole of the SALK project requests, this project 'sector innovation switch' plays a unique and complementary role in close collaboration with the sectors. The knowledge institutions take specific responsibility for direct and collective contribution of innovation knowledge in the sectors. The switch function is performed by a two-pronged approach: on the one hand through transfers of domain-specific business developers (BDs) in the relevant sectors, and through a structural and region-wide knowledge transfer Switch between field (companies and intermediaries) and the knowledge institutions of Limburg (TT services) PXL, UCLL and Hasselt University.
