Challenges and opportunities for a sustainable socio-ecology in the Katangese Copperbelt Area

The Phase In will be dedicated to the setting-up the necessary operational structures and procedures on all levels necessary to the first phase of the IUC partnership. These include the following activities: identification of a local project manager, opening of a dedicated bank account for the programme, operationalisation of the PSU, design of a management manual, appointment of the team leaders and composition of the project teams, establishment of the Environmental Observatory, preparation and organization of the formulation mission and timely submission of a quality partnership programme for phase 1 as well as activity and financial reports for year 0 (Phase In).
