TechnoRehablab: A multidisciplinary lab for interprofessional learning and innovation in technology-supported rehabilitation (Education)

The aim of this subproject is to create a unique place, the 'TechnoRehabLab' - a centre of excellence for education, where state-of-the-art technology is available to teachers, clinicians, companies and students who want to learn and try the latest technological developments that can optimise the rehabilitation. For professionals and students of physical therapy and occupational therapy, as well as (rehabilitation) physicians or psychologists, this lab will make the link between theoretical knowledge and the practical use of rehabilitation technologies in a clinical setting. The participants will become familiar with the use of these new technologies and develop the different skills needed to use these technologies in daily practice. One of the important aspects of this centre is to provide high quality continuous training, aimed at health professionals and companies, to keep them up to date with the use and development of new technologies in rehabilitation.
