IHI call 3 launched + call 4 draft topic texts available

IHI call 3 (single stage call) – deadline 15 March 2023

The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) European Partnership has launched the single-stage IHI call 3. The call includes the following Research and Innovation Actions topics:

·    Topic 1: Screening platform and biomarkers for prediction and prevention of diseases of unmet public health need

·    Topic 2: Patient-generated evidence to improve outcomes, support decision making, and accelerate innovation

·    Topic 3: Combining hospital interventional approaches to improve patient outcomes and increase hospital efficiency

·    Topic 4: Strengthening the European translational research ecosystem for advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) for rare diseases

·    Topic 5: Digital health technologies for the prevention and personalised management of mental disorders and their long-term health consequences

The call deadline is 15 March 2023. All topic texts and call documentation, including a comprehensive guide for applicants, details of how to apply and guidance on how to find project partners can be found on the IHI website.

IHI call 4 – draft topic texts available

IHI has published draft topic texts for call 4 (two stage call) in advance of the official call launch (early 2023) to give potential applicants additional time to start building a consortium and drafting a proposal. The following topics are under consideration for inclusion in the call for proposals:

·    Topic 1: Expanding translational knowledge in minipigs: a path to reduce and replace non-human primates in non-clinical safety assessment

·    Topic 2: Patient-centric blood sample collection to enable decentralised clinical trials and improve access to healthcare

IHI call Days

The IHI is organizing call Days which provide potential applicants with the information they need to put together a strong proposal, and give them the opportunity to identify and meet partners for their consortia.

The call days on call 3 took place in December. Slides and recordings of the sessions can be found on the IHI event website

The call days on call 4 (online) are scheduled for 18-19 January. The following webinars are planned:
